I look forward to giving you an update on the progress of the Website, New Members and Partnerships.
We are joined by Amanda Cullen who will be providing our talk this month ‘I ought to write a book…. My personal experience of putting this thought into action’.
Amanda Cullen is a Kingston-based business coach. She helps people to start, establish and grow their business.
For many years she was a consultant in the pensions industry and worked for one of the largest global consultancies. She was the first woman to take on a leadership role within her business division. Consequently, she found herself trailblazing a path for others to follow.
At this point she hired her own coach, to help her navigate successfully though a very male-dominated world with credibility but without losing the positive attributes of being female. Subsequently she became a partner in the business, and combined business leadership with consulting to major corporate clients, many of which were household names.
Having spent many years coaching and mentoring in her corporate roles, in 2012 she obtained formal coaching qualifications with the Co-Active Training Institute and shortly afterwards established her coaching business.
She now works primarily with small business owners who run service-based businesses in an incredible range of sectors.
These include food, branding, legal, therapy, design, HR, office management, tech and PR.
Amanda is a Director of Kingston Chamber of Commerce, and also a Trustee of Kingston Charitable Foundation, a place-based charity that provides grants to support a wide range of local organisations wherever the need is greatest.
In her spare time she enjoys gardening, reading and dancing!
Amanda’s book, ‘Your Business Cube’, was published in January 2021 and is available on Amazon.
