Our Story
In Good Company is a coaching training business founded on connection and a drive to make a difference in the world. We also offer executive coaching and coach supervision.
The founders Jo Wheatley & Zoe Hawkins met whilst studying for their Masters in Personnel and Development during successful careers in HR. They instantly connected and have been friends ever since that day.
In 2010, they started talking about leaving our corporate careers behind and forming a business based around our passion of coaching and developing others.
In Good Company was born. “Our philosophy is about being in good company with yourself, your team, your organisation and the wider world in which we live. We also believe that you’re in good company when you choose to work with us”.
We pride ourselves on both our commitment to quality, as well as service. We treat every piece of client work as if it were our own. Your success is our success.
Over the years In Good Company has evolved into a Coaching Training Organisation who provides end to end services from 1:1 and group leadership Coaching, to ILM coaching training and supervision to CPD support for coaches. Our work as an Organisation, as well as Individuals, has been nominated for several EMCC awards in Coaching and Supervision, as well as a CIPD Award for Best Learning and Development Consultants. Jo Wheatley was awarded EMCC Global Coach Practitioner of the Year 2020.
We are deeply passionate about our work and the power that coaching has to change lives.
Both of us have been working as leadership coaches since 2009 and have been training coaches since 2015. Our work in coaching supervision has always sat alongside our coaching training and this was formalised in 2018 and 2019 where we both trained as Coaching Supervisors.
Beyond our work we are both married and have young families. We both live by the sea, and share values around learning, connection, achievement and authenticity.
These values show up in the way that we partner with our clients as well as in our wider lives.
